Obituary

Ann G. Kinsey passed away on March 1st, 2026, peacefully surrounded by family.
Ann was very active; she enjoyed skiing, horseback riding, and golf.  She also enjoyed side-by-side rides in the Arizona desert and the Idaho Mountains.
She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1960.  While attending school at Colorado Women's College, she broke her back in a skiing accident. The doctors told her she might not walk again and would not be able to have children.  She proved them wrong.
In June of 1962, she married Robin Kinsey in what the Pocatello Tribune dubbed 'The Social Event Of The Summer'.  Together, they had several successful businesses in Jerome, including Just Women Fitness, Clean Ann's Carwash, and R & R Pharmacy.
They loved to travel and went to all 7 continents.  She especially enjoyed seeing the penguins in Antarctica.
Ann was an active volunteer.  She coordinated blood drives with the American Red Cross and supported the Jerome Library and the Shriners' Hospitals.  Ann was awarded the 'Citizen of the Year' by the Jerome Chamber of Commerce.  She was always active with a local church wherever she lived at the time.
Mostly, Ann was a mom and grandmother, someone who would always answer the phone and have a solution for every problem.
We will remember days on the ski hill when we probably should have been at school.  She believed that life experience was more important than perfect school attendance.
She was very active with Daughters Of The Nile and served as Queen in 2004 for Iras Temple #40.
A big Thank You to the staff at DeSano Suites in Gooding for the outstanding care over these last years.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Robin.  She is survived by her children, sons James (Leslie) and Douglas, daughter Angela, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Demaray's Jerome Memorial Chapel, 629 3rd Ave E., Jerome.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jerome Public Library or the Shriners Hospital.
