Carren Ann Peterson came into this world on Jan. 31, 1939, in Burley, Idaho followed by her twin sister, Charol Kay.  Carren left us on May 21, 2024, in Gooding, Idaho, the oldest of 6 children.
She grew up in Ketchum, ID on Warm Springs Rd, in a house that still stands today, known as the Bicycle Shop. 
Carren graduated from Hailey High School in 1957.  Shortly after she married Guy D. Peterson, Sr.   From this marriage, they were blessed with 3 children; Guy D. Peterson, Jr. (Trina), Deacie Peterson, and Jan-Ivy Peterson (Sam).  They were later divorced. 
She is survived by her 4 siblings; Lynn Monger (Roger, deceased), Lyman Hammon (Krystal), Janis Pollard (Roy), George Hammon (Sharon), a brother-in-law, Clark Monk (Nancy), 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lyman B. and Dean B. Hammon and her twin sister, Charol Kay Monk.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Ketchum Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life Stories will follow at the Blaine County Fair Grounds immediately following the service, all are invited to participate.
