Edith Suzanne Ruiz

Edith Suzanne Ruiz, 57, a resident of Wendell, passed away on March 29, 2026, at her home.   She was born on August 19, 1969, in Jerome, Idaho.  She was the daughter of Clinton J. and Rose Marcia (Quintana) Callen.
She was raised and educated in Jerome.  She married Paul Ruiz in Gooding, ID.
Suzanne loved to be with her children and grandchildren.   She loved exploring new things and making new memories with her family.  Family was everything to her, especially when they gathered for holidays. Meal planning was her favorite.  
She always brought laughter to anyone around her and always lit up the room.  She gave the best life advice, an old soul with a youthful spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Raul, her sons, Andrew Hurtado, Alex Ruiz, and Ahriel Ruiz, her daughters, Janell Hurtado and Aliyna Ruiz, her brother Bud Callen, her grandchildren Julian Ruiz, Jaliyn Ruiz, JoJo Ruiz, Jehdrinna Hurtado, Janessa Hurtado, Jenicka Hurtado, Ridalia Hurtado, Rafayel, Damien, Janiah, Jezieh Cortez, and Jayce Cortez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Quintana and Clinton Callen.
