After immigrating to the U.S., he continued to follow his passion for trucking, which became a lifelong career. He was also an avid car collector who loved fishing and working on cars and trucks. Manuel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He was known for his generous spirit, tireless work ethic and infectious sense of humor. He was always offering a helping hand, working hard for his family, and making everyone around him laugh.
