Otto J. Schwarz, 79, of Hazelton, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home.
Otto was born on September 5, 1944 in Jerome, Idaho, the son of Esther and Albert Schwarz.
He was raised and educated in the Hazelton/Eden area at Valley High School, graduating in 1962.  
He married Susan Marie Dodge on Aug. 22, 1969 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eden.
He enjoyed logging, camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, playing cards, and especially hanging out with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Susan; his daughters, Regina (Kevin) Randall, Rene (Adrian) Isaacs, Irene (Lucas) Staffen, and Nancy (Bob) Staffen, his grandchildren; Shayleen, Jacob, Shoshanna, Nathan, Shantaya Randell, Jessica (Barak) Leppert, Lizzy, Stephan, Ren, Corra, John, Lilly Isaacs, David, Marcus, Rebecca Staffen, Robbie, Keneniah, and Shanika Staffen, one great-grandchild; Willow Randall,  a sister-in-law Lorrinda Schwarz; and nephews and nieces, Rex (Lorrie) Schwarz, Martha (Eddy) Browning and family, Arrin (Steven) Brummett and family, Adam (Dodmar) and family, Benjamin (Christy) and Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ester and Albert, siblings Floyd (LeeAnn) Schwarz, Mark Schwarz (Kathy Lockwood), and John, niece Rita Dodge, and his grandson Michael Martindale.
Funeral Services will be held on March 30, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eden.  Viewing will be held at 1:00 pm at  Trinity Lutheran Church.  Burial will take place at 2:00 pm followed by services at the church at 3:00 pm.

Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray’s Jerome Memorial Chapel.
